The AWD 15,000 series is the world's best built AWD chassis dynamometer in its class at any price. The 15,000 series is capable of supporting speeds up to 240+ MPH and 4400+ HP. The 15,000 series chassis dyno's are also upgradeable for the eddy brake for steady state testing, which can support an additional 850 HP. The 15,000 comes standard with our X Factor Knurling option which provides the highest traction over all other competitors. The optional eddy brake assembly sits directly on the shaft between the two rolls - no need to couple with a belt or universal joint all power is directly transferred from the wheels to the load cell.
The rear section is coupled to 8 linked rollers with 36-86 Inch track width Gates Poly Chain® GT3® belts. This AWD system dyno incorporates linkage which insures that the front and rear rollers are always spinning at precisely the same road speed. This process eliminates the possibility of activating a vehicle’s traction control system and also insures that a vehicle’s torque management system is operating under the assumption that the vehicle is not skidding, turning or slipping.
TORQUE: 15,000 ft lbs INERTIA: 1800 lbs MAX SPEED: 240MPH (2WD) 190 (AWD) ROLL DIAMETER: 24' Inch AIR REQUIREMENTS: 115 PSI POWER REQUIREMENTS: 220/240/280
AWD 15000 FX Ramps: Long Aluminum Ramps with ramp rail attachment. Folds into 3 sections to minimize space when not in use.
Max axle weight per ramps 5,000 lbs.
AWD 15000 FX Pit Cover:
DC Fan: Dynocom supports plug-n-play options like an auxiliary output for a fan. Two options available. Pedestal fan for above ground applications and a floor fan for pit options. Plugs directly into the JBOX and turns on/off during dyno runs.
Can be purchased in 110 or 220 Voltage.
Drag-Tree: Now you can perform 1/4 mile drag simulations on the dyno. Within a 1/10th of a second accuracy the drag tree features dual Pre-stage & Stage bulbs and the flood lamps are spaced in accordance to NHRA/IHRA National Event trees. Our trees are made of 100% structural aluminum with a 25 lb steel base stand.
INCLUDES: 6 foot aluminum tree, Incandescent Flood Lamps, 40 ft cable, 25 lb base stand, cigarette lighter adapter for the eliminator practice tree, and 2 vehicle connections (so you can sit in your race car and practice). Also includes special Dynocom harness that plugs directly into the Dynocom JBOX.
DC Ramps: DC Ramps are more compact alternative to a traditional 4-post lift. These heavy-duty aluminum ramps are durable and compact. They fold up on top of each other for storage or when not in use. They are lightweight and look great and are stored easily when not in use.
DC 5 Gas Analyzer: Look no farther than the DC-5 GAS for your gas analyzer needs. This all-in-one, portable machine meets BAR and OIML standards and will provide you with an emission diagnostics and trouble-shooting tool that will drastically reduce your diagnostic and tune-up time.
DC-5 GAS analyzer measures five emission gases, including Hydrocarbons (HC), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Oxygen (O2) and Oxides of Nitrogen (NOX). Based on gas concentrations,
DC-5 GAS will calculate the Air to Fuel Ratio (AFR), Lambda () and Grams per
Mile (GPM). It will also provide a read-out for an optional Tachometer that handles up to 30,000 RPM. With this much information in one place, you can diagnose and tune any fuel-related issues while having all of the relevant information displayed in six super-bright, oversized displays.
In addition to the above features, you can measure exhaust gases from two tail pipes and average the readings or set up an exhaust dilution value to warn you if there are air-leaks in the exhaust system. With the standard 12VDC jack in addition to the 110VAC-230VAC, you can connect the DC-5 GAS to the car battery or cigarette lighter and take it along for a drive test to see how the vehicle behaves in real driving situations. You can use the internal record feature to store all eight parameters and download the information to a PC when you return.
Wireless OBDII : Our wireless module for OBDII Applications provides real time data from the OBDII port on all 1996 and newer vehicles. This data is available to be viewed live in the dynamometer software and is also recorded into the dyno run.
You can view all support channels of the OBDII data, such as spark advance, throttle position, engine coolant temperatures, inlet air temperature, calculated load, and numerous other parameters right along side your dyno results.
