AiC 8 – Automated Injector Characterization

The Dynocom AiC8 is a professional-grade, patented injector test bench capable of flowing and testing up to 8 high or low impedance injectors sequentially. With the dual fuel pump option, it supports up to 8x Low Impedance Large Atomizer injectors (up to 8A/2A Peak & Hold). Fully integrated with Quantum's QUAIC software via Ethernet, the AiC8 delivers automated, precise characterization for serious automotive professionals.

AIC-8 Systems & Features

  • External Power Supply: 6–24VDC for injector/pump operation
  • MCU: Built-in 200MHz 32-bit MCU with 32-bit interrupt trigger counter and 12-bit A/D for precise flow meter measurement
  • Injector Driver: User-configured High or Low Impedance Pulse/Hold driver (up to 8A/2A with adjustable pulse and hold times)
  • Flow Meter: Built-in Digital PD Flow Meter — 5 cc/min to 12,000 cc/min range, ±0.5% accuracy
  • Fuel Control: Integrated check valve and fuel pump On/Off control relay
  • Calibration Cylinders: 8x 950cc cylinders — open for automatic flow testing or closed for visual testing
  • Fuel Pressure Regulator: 20–110 PSI
  • HMI: Graphic Human Machine Interface with Emergency Stop Button
  • Environmental Sensors: Atmospheric temperature, pressure, and humidity sensor
  • Tank Monitoring: Fluid tank level gauge and temperature sensor
  • Flow Monitoring: Fluid flow head temperature and pressure sensor
  • Filtration: High-flow fluid filter (10 micron)
  • Fuel System: High-flow fluid pressure accumulator, fluid cooler, integrated fan with thermostat
  • Additional Features: LED lighting, voltage sensor, all braided fuel lines with AN fittings (-8 AN)
  • AIC-8Plus Option: External in-line fuel pump connection for pump flow testing up to 12,000 cc/min
  • Ultrasonic Cleaner: Built-in 8-injector wiring harness connector for cleaning/operating high impedance injectors with external ultrasonic cleaner
  • Software: Compatible with Quantum QUAIC software via Ethernet
