Dynocom has introduced the world’s first affordable, truly compact, high-performance and advanced bolt-on dynamometer system with integrated load — utilizing advanced, revolutionary-designed Power Absorption Units (PAUs) incorporated within the dynamometer enclosure. This design delivers the first compact load-capable portable dynamometer by eliminating the need for expensive and invasive water-brake absorption units, removing a common source of failure.

Equipped with eddy current brakes, the AWD 2000 POD enables acceleration, step, sweep, and steady-state tests with real-time precision:

• View real-time torque/horsepower output at steady and changing speeds to instantly evaluate changes to fuel or timing maps
• Diagnose engine and drivetrain problems
• Troubleshoot drivability issues
• Run track ¼ mile or circle track lap simulations with reaction times you define in the software parameters

Technical Notes

• Three Phase power recommended for maximum performance. Two Phase will reduce braking torque by approx. 20–25%. Increasing incoming AC voltage can proportionally increase rated torque output. Maximum AC voltage: 400 VAC.
• Average braking torque figures are based on approx. 2 minutes of continuous use at full output power (100% duty cycle).
• HP ratings are dependent on RPM and torque absorbed. Maximum values are determined by multiplying maximum rated engine torque by the gear ratio of the operating transmission gear and final drive ratio.
